    Who the heck would car jack a late model SUV? More likely a cop will see it, and freak on you, then a late model suv being carjacked. Good luck with that.

    Looks like an xDM. I love ’em, no safety selector, just the grip and trigger safety. Pick those bad boys up and you’re ready to rock and roll!
    I don’t like the position though, I’d bang my knees too much, I just tuck mine between the seat and the console, works good for me (when it’s not in my shoulder holster that is).

    I actually think that would be a better position. You dont have to reach around the wheel either.

    Actually, this is not a “white trash repair”. There is a company that makes and sells these holsters. Seems like a pretty decent idea if you don’t want to either keep the weapon on your belt or tucked between the seat and the console.

    Why would a cop freak? I routinely openly carry (legal in my state) a locked and cocked .45. Only ones freaking are the gangbangers who see it and decide they have urgent business elsewhere.
